About Musical Selections  Clem loved Mozart. He also loved the sound of the trumpet.
The tune of Hymn 159, “Finlandia,” was used for the national anthem of Biafra with the opening words Land of the rising sun, we love and cherish, Beloved homeland of our brave heroes. . .

About the Kola Nut  Many West Africans enjoy the kola nut. But it holds a sacred spot in Igbo lore. It is said that the kola only understands Igbo, which is why Dan had to give the kola prayer in his and Clem’s native language! A rough translation of the prayer is: Praise be to God, the Creator, the almighty! Heavenly King, you create, you give, you take. We gather in homage to celebrate the life of Clement Onyemelukwe, giving you the glory and praise. Please accept the spirit of Clement Onyemelukwe, who left us and the world of humanity. Take his spirit peacefully. Amen
